How do i get the player into folder mode to read folders on the disc ? the default setting is CD track mode!

I have a 2007 Ford with a 6 disc CD/MP3 player. I am trying to figure out how to get the player in folder mode. the manual talks about folder mode over and over but i cannot find where is explains how to get into this mode. I have a disc with folders on it that contains MP3 files. the manual says that it can open the folders and play the MP3 files. When i load the disc i try to search for folders using the folder button on the player but i get a no folder message along with a bad disc message and the disc ejects automatically. If there is anyone that knows how to get the player into folder mode please explain.
