Recover audio files from Sony ICD-P210 recorder

I accidentally deleted an important file from my Sony ICD-P210 digital voice recorder. The manual says there is not way to recover files but i don't believe it. I need a way to recover this file or make the drive show up in "my computer" so I can undelete it. Is that possible?
