You need default route so that the PIX will know to route all traffic even though it has picked up an ip address by DHCP.<br />

I have been having a hard time setting up a PIX 501 with a Westell DSL modem through Bellsouth service. &nbsp;I have the Westell setup in Bridged mode and have setup the PIX with the correct PPPoE information via startup wizard. &nbsp;I am able to ping the outside world via the outside interface but not the inside interface. &nbsp;I have tried both static and dynamic settings for the PPPoE server setup, thinking that I had a routing problem. &nbsp;Any suggestions??
