I am running ALCH386.EXE  for compressing image files with the paramaters  -P -Q -_ .5i -X1.33x -D 300 300 -+ -o <inputfile> <outputfile>
The environment variable ALCHEMY has been set to x
ALCHEMY=x

This is being run on a Microsoft Transaction server having WindowsNT operating system.
The Virtual memory available on the server is 2309MB.The Size of the input file is less than 30KB.
