When choosing Multiplayer and create server, the other computer never shows an available game. Both settings are for LAN and Local. Any advice. I am using the latest version of both operating system and Q3. Is there a way to use TCP/IP over ethernet?

If i recall correctly Quake III doesn't use Appletalk. It uses TCP/IP. I could be wrong on that one. Are you using the latest Q3 updates?...check www.versiontracker.com
