Microsoft Flight Simulator X - Runs slow!

Hi... I am a simulator enthusiast.  I am not been able to run Flight Simulator X properly. It runs very slow and I need to always decrease its autogen volume.
My computer specifications are as follows,  Sony Vaio 2.4 GHZ;1 GB RAM; NVIDIA 7800 GRAPHIC CARD.
What should I do to increase my gaming performace in my computer especially Microsoft flight Sim X?
