I have tried the dosbox. the games are working...
this dos box hangs, and i need o restart it again..
thats a pain...
do we have any other alternative...

i have downloaded a few games from http://www.bestoldgames.ne
when i try to run the exe, i get the error, which is in the attached screen shot.
what do you suggest my next step
I use vista home premium.

Do you have any older operating system disks?
This looks like it would be fixed with a VirtualPC environment - even though it's not officially supported you could install a VPC session running in DOS. But Any earlier Windows version would do.

But you should be able to get DOSBox running with Crazy Cars 3 and Vista
An alternative would be to use an xp driver for your graphics hardware. You might have to start the setup in xp-compatibility mode make vista allow it to run. This will allow fullscreen on the command line.
BUT: although this could work fine if you are lucky, this can also lead to other problems and crashes.

I would advise running the old program in an environment like DosBox, which is designed to run older software on modern systems. Check it out at http://www.dosbox.com
