Anyone ever experienced 'out of range , 56.7 Khz / 85 Hz' when the starting the game Jewel Quest III? I have updated the video adapter drivers, tried lowering and increasing the resolution, restarted computer, ran windows updates on the computer. Game requirements are : CPU SPEED = 800Mhz , RAM = 128 MB , HD SPACE = 100 MB
PC where this is being installed has : CPU = 2.4Ghz , RAM = 512 MB...

here they say the game is looking for a refresh rate that is not supported, so check in the game what it's settings are : http://en.allexperts.com/q
In the game folder directory there should be a settings.ini, or a config.ini or something like that (probably a *.ini file of some sort, it may even be a *.txt file) this is pretty standard for most games as a place holder for where the game's settings are located for this exact reason. Once you find the appropriate file you just need to find the refresh rate = XXXXX line and edit it to a setting that is applicable to your monitor.
Reinstalling the game may help as well. Keep your monitor's refresh rate at 60Hz while you test as well. That refresh rate is guaranteed to work with the game. Also your resolution needs to be at least 1024x768 from what I see in order for the game to work. This may be the issue as well.

"85Hz" sounds like your monitor refresh rate, are you using a CRT or a LCD monitor? If it's a CRT, try lowing the refresh rate to 75Hz, if it's a LCD then the refresh rate should be set at 60Hz.
