Browse All TopicsHave been trying to solve this issue without success. I had a virus or malware on my pc that I cleaned with Vipre, malwarebytes, etc. However, now when I go to Yahoo games, put in my user name and password and enter the chess area....all chess area are 0 which is, I know, not true. If I try to enter a particular chess area, a new window opens and displays the following message at the top. Wait 3 minutes for applet to load... Click here if applet fails to load. Of course, I wait then click HERE but still nothing happens. FYI: all was fine until I got that virus, worm, trojan or whatever. Any suggestions before I wipe the drive and reload XP. Oh, BTW I an running IE7. Many thanks,

Have you tried running yahoo games in firefox or another web browser? There may have been some residual changes leftover from the infection. In internet options > advanced tab> there is a reset button to reset all IE settings back to default.
