I know it is a stupid question, but I am trapped there for days.
Playing DS 1.05b, I started at the town. I got stuck before I can leave the town to go venturing.
After greeting lots of person, I found an area surrounded by fenses. I believe the area is subdivided into three areas. I got inside and then turn left to the left area. There are three weapons on three stands, and a human behind a table.
It took enough long enough to find the three targets to shoot. After shooting three in a row, the human congratulate me. Then I noticed that the fence doors have closed behind me. I didn't find any way to leave the area.
I can't jump over the fenses, and shoot the human nearby is useless. I did find a shootable monster beyond the three targets, but nothing happens when I keep shooting at it (a red bar appears, I suppose it is his HP: if that is true, I never succeed in bringing him any harm).
What can I do from here?

Ok this is what you have to do put the weapon you had grabed to practice with back on the pedalstood and the gates will reopen to let you out. In any of the practice areas the gates will close when you pick up the weapons. this is to prevent a players from taking these weapons.
