I installed a video game and now my colors won't go back to 32 bit...

I installed Halo for PC. When I played it, it adjusted my colors to 16 bit. Now I can't get the colors to be back to normal. Can anyone help me? My video card setting says 32 bit, but a lot of colors aren't being displayed (light grays turn to white, etc). How can I fix this?
