Green screen problem in games

The problem is that i got a green screen in World of warcraft game and the pc froze.. i had to reset it to make it work again.. I just bought this pc so this kinda worries me.. and it only happened once.
I have all the latest drivers for mobo/soundcard/ethernet/graphics
My Os is windows xp service pack 2
I have windows 7 but that problem never happened in windows 7 and i use windows 7 more often.
My system spec is:
Motherboard: asus rampage 2 extreme
cpu: core i7 950
graphics: gigabyte 275 gtx GV-N275UD-896I
ram: corsair 6gb
hard disk: caviar black 640 gb
power supply: corsair tx650
