Symantec, Gateway Security, 360R, Playstation 3 (wired)
I hope someone can help on this very specific problem. At home I installed the Symantec Security Gateway 360R which we had at our office before and everything including WIFI seems to work fine (all pc's can internet and even Steam games, Teamspeak, IRC and other software works fine), however on my Playstation 3 (which is connected by wire to the gateway), I keep getting NAT Type 3, aka some things will not work according to Sony.
It connects fine to the internet, PS Network aswell, but indeed, when joining an online game I get disconnected sometimes (after a few minutes). According to some people it's because its not NAT Type 2 which allows more stuff to go through. The gateway security doesnt have upnp so i had to open the specific ports according to Sony:
I added the PS3 on the firewall as static IP and under FIREWALL i set INBOUND Connection for those ports to the internal IP of the PS3 (192.168.2.12). Does anyone know how I can make this NAT Type 2 or just fix it another way?
