Hi
I have a Nintendo DS and I am trying to connect it to a Belkin F5D8230-4. I believe from a couple of sites that they are compatible units.
I configured the Belkin as a DHCP Server and configured the DS accordingly. The DS was detected as the router DHCP Client list displayed the MAC address of the DS. However I could still not connect using the Test Connection option on the Nintendo. I tried using a 64 WEP Key and also a 128 WEP key at both ends but still no joy. I then tried disabling WEP Encryption totally but still the test failed.
I have tried setting a Static IP address, gateway and DNS address but still cant get them to connect.
I have two other laptops connecting wirelessly to the router so I am happy that the router is OK. I rang Nintendo and spoke to one of the support Engineers for 25 minutes who when through the same steps as me but still no joy.
If it were not for the fact that the router registers the MAC address of the DS I would think it was indeed faulty. Has anyone else had similar problems/solutions that could help me resolve this issue? Thanks in advance...J
