My son's XBox 360 has suddenly stopped working, and that's a big deal for a 14 year old! The console has suddenly been unable to find discs. The message on the bottom of the screen reads "open tray" and once he opens the tray and inserts the disc the Xbox 360 displays "reading" for a few seconds and then returns to "open tray". Is this a system or hardware error? How can this be fixed? Does the console need to be sent back to Microsoft for repair (I dread the thought).
