I needed to replace my analog joystick on my PSP 2001 Slim. In the process of removing the joystick component I lost the tiny 4 conductor silicon bridge. Does anyone know where I can purchase either the bridge alone or a stick with the bridge included. I have searched the Internet, but most sites I have found that have the joystick, show it without the silicon bridge. My $170.00 PSP is a brick all because of a 5 cent part......argh. Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks

You're hunting for a plastic contact strip. They are a standard item across the PSP range so you don't need a special one for the Slim. Normally I'd recommend ConsoleZombie (http://www.consolezombie. com/) but as they don't have one in their online store at the moment try emailing them for either details or ideas on other stockists. You can usually get them via dealers in China but shipping can make the whole deal much more expensive.
If you can't source one directly it might be worth contacting a local PSP approved repair centre to see if they could sell you one.
