Toys R' Us is swapping out the console so everything from the original box is going back to the store. I have a second Wiimote that we purchased so that I will keep. Hope I don't lose too much.
Thanks.

Is there a way to do this so I don't lose this info when replacing the console? How will the game data be associated with the newly created Miis on the new console if I cannot back up the Mii/System Data.

There is a correction to Masqueraid's statement. When your Wii is serviced or replaced by Nintendo all of your Miis and save game information will be available on your replacement Wii. The only downside is that any online friends will need your new Wii code to connect to you. Also any Miis you created will no longer be able to be modified, they are assigned by the Mii Serial Number. You will be able to see them, use them, play with them, but they will no longer show you as owner of them.

You can save Miis to your WiiMote
If Nintendo replace your Wii you'll end up with a new unique Wii code which means that saves in Wii Sports and Wii Play will be lost but pretty much everythnig else will be OK
