Greetings! I am trying to run "Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems" on the latest version of ZSNES, and it flickers when I do. Even with no frame skipping turned on, the problem persists. I've tried different versions of ZSNES, including older ones, and the problem does not correct itself. I have also tried dowloading many different versions of the ROM ie. US, Japan, etc, and they all behave like this. Is there anything I can do to correct this problem within this emulator? It's the only SNES emulator that runs well on my PC.

I would run snes and zsnes at a 640x480 100mhz refresh on windows 95. I would also run in a window and because you probably have an old video card enable vertical sync in the game. This will allow the monitor and graphic card to coinside with one another. Because you are using win 95 the system has limited capacity of changing graphic properties so make sure you are running in 16 bit colors

Do you know if there are any Snes emulators that use SDL. I had a friend who needed to use sdl to because direct x will not go past dx 8.1 for win 95. or have you updated your direct x. Do other games work on zsnes or have you tried snes9x
