what is the best emulation program For Playstation 2  Games in a  computer.
My System specification:
OS            :   Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.1.2600  
CPU Type            :   Intel Celeron, 2400 MHz  
RAM                :   768  MB      
Graphic Card :   NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 (256 MB)  
MB           :   MSI 845E Max (MS-6566E)

There are still no good PS2 emus available, those that are evolving need processing overheards that your Celeron won't even be able to get near :(

As MASQUERAID pointed, there are no good PS2 emulators available. The only way to develop for the Playstation 2 system is by using the Linux Kit for PS2 (which has a fairly high price). You can get yours at: http://playstation2-linux.com/faq.php#Availability__When_Where_and_how_much

Hi, so far the best emulator will be the pcsx2. This program is a free software, you can visit the official website at www.pcsx2.net. But it only provides the installation package without the bios.

Tou can check out torrent sites that have both bio files and the program packed together. The website also has a compatibility list for the ps2 games.

don't get too enthusiastic...

not a single decent ps2 emu exist (pcsx2 is most advanced, but still crap)... no chance of debug on emulator (not to mention test run/play)

if you want to start your ps2 dev adventure head to http://ps2dev.org/ THE source for a homebrew ps2 kickstart

and once again... there is no such thing as decent ps2 emulation on pc at the moment.
(there is one simple reason - ps2 is internally based on 2 separate chips with different architectures and specs so emulation must take into account communication and synchronization between two active high-speed elements)
