okay, i'm at work and don't have the details on me, but will try to remember what i can before i get home to check. I'm brand new to visual C++ and OpenGL, and have started doing the first exercise in a tutorial on openGL in Visual C++.
This seems to utilise a built in sample tutorial in visual studio so lots of stuff is already setup - i only had to create a member function or two which were copied straight out of the tut.
anyway I compile ok and build fine, but when I try to execute the code, i get a message about (and this is what i'm trying to remember!!) something like:
could not the ??? in ???.dll - this sounds like i'm wasting you rtime doesn't it? I'll be able to write more when I get home.
I've also built the tutorial (without any code in it) - if you create an exe project called sampleGl, visual studio should give you the same as what i have- and get the same error when i try to run it.
I need to know if perhaps i'm missing opengl on my installation of XP, or if this is something that is to do with what I'm doing!
I apologise for the lack of clarity, expect more information in about 5 hours.
