I have a working test for Sphere AABB intersection, how do I get a AABB Sphere collision response?

I have attached the code for a sphere/AABB intersection test.

My question is, how do I obtain a method for testing the AABB against the sphere from the code below.

Currently the moving sphere will have a sliding collision response using:

contact.normal * (contact.radius_Projection - contact.location_Distance)

The code will allow the sphere to respond when moving and the AABB is stationary but not vice versa. How do I get a moving AABB to respond in the same way against a stationary sphere?
