I am starting to research virtual worlds for educational purposes.  My initial ideas is to have virtual role-playing where students would interact with historical figures and experts.  It would be nice to be able to host content in the virtual world (Word files, short videos, etc.).  It would also be nice to be able to design some sort of simulation.  My best bet would be a hosted solution that is relatively inexpensive so I can learn and pilot it.
