On my home network, I get network hangs... that is, time where the network is completely unresponsive. This isn't so bad for regular use, but for gaming it is a dealbreaker. Basically what happens is that every half hour or so I loose connectivity for 10-30 seconds.
I play the game Guild Wars, which is an MMO, and basically these random interrupts keep me from being able to play the game.
So what I'm unable to figure out, is where this problem is coming from.
Is it my ISP, my modem, my router, my ethernet connection or the OS itself?
How can I figure it out?
Comcast - Motorola Surfboard - D-Link DIR-655 - Intel on-board ethernet - Windows XP SP3.
