OK, I must be missing something here. I've checked both Dell and HP and they have these priced the same way.
Why is the Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5405 (2GHz, 1333MHz FSB) more expensive than any of the Dual-Cores? For example, the Dual-Core Intel Xeon 5110 (1.6GHz, 1066MHz FSB) is $49 more than the E5405. And obviously all of the other dual-cores increase in value.
There must be some fundamental thing that I'm missing here. Are quad-cores just not the way to go?
Thanks!
