2 CPUs (Intel(R) Xeon(R) Dual-Core CPU 5160  @ 3.00GHz) but see 4 processors?

Greetings,

We have a machine that allegedly has 2 CPUs in it (2 - Intel(R) Xeon(R) Dual-Core 5160 CPUs  @ 3.00GHz) and is running Redhat Linux ES4. When I issue the command "more /proc/cpuinfo" I am seeing 4 processors and a total of 8 cpu cores (see below), why is that? should I not only see 2 processors given there are only 2 CPUs?
