With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? IEXPLORE High CPU usage

OS: WinXP SP2
Machine: Dell Inspirion 1520
RAM: 2GB

My machine becomes very slow when i open internet explorer. I re-installed OS after formating and washing out everything.
Not sure what is causing this problem. On my machine i have fresh OS and Drivers (provided by  Dell).
I have disabled almost all the add-ons.
I have analysed log file from HijackThis, seems ok.
