I had a thunderstorm knock out the Poweredge 2600 and I didnt notice it till the next day. It seems like it is getting power when booting as everything starts up, hard drives and fans spin. I get nothing on the screen and have found the "Troubleshooting LED's" cycle thought some codes. I used this page to decode what I could.
https://dcse.dell.com/selfstudy/Associates_5_0/Servers_5_0/Servers/PE2600/system_indicators.htmI got another motherboard on Ebay because that what i thought it may have been since it seemed as if it wanted to boot up but didnt. The LED (DS9) is green so I dont think the PSU are bad but again Im now unsure.
I have two CPUs and after switching them around using one at a time still no luck. Here is the last set of errors that I got with one CPU installed.
CPU0 Heat Sink Not Installed Properly
CPU1 Heat Sink Not Installed Properly
VRM0 Power Is Bad
CPU POR Is Not Present
I think they may have been more errors with both of the CPUs installed but didnt get a chance to write down the codes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
