Hi Danis
I tried installing Rivatuner but I got the same result with the fans speeding up again after a few seconds.
However I noticed amongst the downloads on the guru3d site was a new beta ForceWare 160.03 which has only been released today! I dowloaded and installed it. This gave me more tuning ability but also removed the gpu fan control from EXPERTool and the Rivatuner fan control was still doing the same thing. BUT the guru3d site also alerted me to the fact that NVIDIA nTune 5.05.38.00 was available and compatible with my mainboard. I can now control each fan separately via the mainboard chipset and the speed stays where I want it. I reckon I have mostly solved this problem myself but you deserve the points for giving me the link to the guru3d site. Many thanks.
Best regards, Nick aka Kickstart.
