the above should do it, but if it does not help, you can look for a bios update

Browse All TopicsHi Experts - I had the PC turned off for a week - came back and had to replace the motherboard 3v Duracell battery as the system was dead. (second time on a 3-year old Dimension 9200)
On reboot I get:
Floppy diskette seek failure
Alert! Air temperature sensor not detected.
Strike F1 to continue and go to EE, or F2 to run setup...
I downloaded SpeedFan (as the fan seems louder than usual) and get what you see in the image. Can anyone advise what a good next step might be?

I would do the F2 and go into the BIOS.
It looks like a couple of the settings went back to default, and need to be reset.
If you don't have a floppy, disable the seek option.
Look for the fan/temp setting,and either turn the Air Temp sensor On or Off, as needed.
Did the Air Temp show up before this last battery change?
