How to bypass "1611 power supply fan failure" on Compaq Proliant DL380?

Anyone know how to bypass a "1611 power supply fan failure" error on a Compaq Proliant DL380.  I need to be able to bypass the error or get into the BIOS, which seems impossible since it reboots before full post.

FYI.. this server has been retired.  I just want to be able to boot from the CDROM so I can run a DOD format on the drives before sending the machine off to a scrap dealer.
