I want to say: you're doing it wrong or not looking at the results correctly.
but sis you get any error mesages with the crucial scanner ? what did it say?
the crucial scanner shows a screen of lots of information and it will detail how much memory you have and what memory you can upgrade to - I use this tool daily. look again S L O W L Y at all the information.
Here's a couple of the tools i use.
Try cpu-z first it's the easiest and provides alot of information and requires no installation, SIW will provide even more information but requires you to install the program.
