The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. I get this error "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" in a blue screen

I have a laptop that has windows xp pro. I been having this problem ever since I started using visual studio 2008. I did some research and found out that it had something to do with the RAM. I have 2gb of RAM. I did a memory test with memtest and I get an error saying that the RAM is not storing data correctly. So I went to the store and bought new RAM. I still get the same problem. recently I have been trying to change the BIOS settings for the RAM to see if that will fix the problem. However I cant find anything related to RAM under the BIOS menu. any help is greatly appreciated.
