The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Now here's a strange and I believe difficult task
PC Setup:
2GB Kingston RAM @800MHz KVR800D2N5/1G x2
Intel Core2Duo 6600 2.4Ghz
Elite M/B NF650iSLIT-A
Gainward 8800 GTS 512
400GB Samsung HDD SATA
Windows XP Pro SP2
Well I get the 0x0000004E error with first parameter 0x00000099 which is supposed to be bad RAM
The problem is that I changed the RAM into 2 new ones again the same kingston RAm and I still get the error.
I checked the 1st ram with memtest and I got errors
I did the same thing with the new ones and I get the same error
When in Safe mode I get no errors at all
I used to work with dual bank  but now if I install a module on second bank the pc doesn't start or if it does. it crushes
In safe mode when I check the ram with mem test I get NO ERRORS AT ALL
I tried to upgrade the Nvidia drivers of the mobo but I still get the same error.
Any ideas??? I'm desperate. I didn't have the chance to check the ram on another pc
I also tried to put more voltage to the ram stock 1.8 and I tried 1.9v
The problems occurs more often when in Games which use more ram. specifically when I close a game and I start another in max 5mins Ill get the blue screen.
PLEASE HELP... could it be a CPU issue??? or compatibility I dodn't know.. I'm gonna run mem test in pure dos now and see what happens.Start Free Trial
