Vista 64 bit only recognizes 3 gigs RAM

I have a Gateway M465-E Laptop with the following specs:

4Gigs RAM - OCZ
Core 2 Duo T7200
Intel i945GM Chipset
Vista Ultimate 64 Bit

I just installed the 4 Gigs (had 2) and I'm getting weird readings. On initial boot, system shows 3072 RAM. When I go into the BIOS, it shows 4096. When I look at Task Manager, it shows 3072. When I view System Info in Vista, it shows 4.0 Gigs, when I run CPUz, it shows 4Gigs and when I run dxdiag.exe it shows 3072.

So, I have no idea if my system is recognizing 3 or 4 gigs. What do you think?
