I posted an earlier question re: why my MB won't recognize my memory (Kingston DDR-2) Now, this one person said it has to do with whether the memory is LOW density, as opposed to HIGH density. Makes sense. The problem is that I just called my computer parts store, and they didnt' know what I was talking about. Their designation is wheither the memory is low latency or high latency.
The point is this: according to
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Q_23791151.html#a0posting, THE LOW DENSITY MEMORY IS SUPERIOR!! So...........
a) can i still buy it in 1 or 2 gb sticks?
2) how can i tell the difference between low and high density memory?
3) is there a relationship between latency and density?
