Interleaving in BIOS howto?

I upgraded from 8GB to 32GB (2GB sticks)
I've got 16 memory slots total. With two quad core processors running.

Settings were with 8GB:
Memory Branch mode: Interleave
Branch 0 Rank Sparing 4:1
Branch 0 Rank Interleave Disabled
Branch 1 Rank Sparing 4:1
Branch 1 Rank Interleave Disabled

What should settings be with 32GB?
What's difference between 4:1 2:1 and 1:1 (are these quad channel, dual channel and one on one or sth?)
So 4:1 would be the best?
