Asus Motherboard on boot no video no beeps

trying to track down exactly why i cant get video when i turn on the system nor any speaker beep codes i look carefully at everything and all the Fans come on i hear the HDs spin i also have 4 Sticks of Crucial memory down to one ive unplugged the HDs the CD/dvd (IDE) i have a ONBOARD video to ive also plugged in a known working pciE video card from another machine still nothing ive checked the Cpu just to make sure the pins were correct, ive also tried clearing the Cmos (moving the pin from spots 2,3 to 1,2 then back to 2,3 according to the manual even taking out all the memory i dont hear any beeps.
