Alright Il try to explain this as simple as I can.
I have a HP DC5750S/A64-38/80hnw/1.0R/
4k US (Or DC5750s)
It originally came with the AMD 3800+, and Im going to buy a AMD X2 (Probly 3800+)
It has a 300 Watt power supply.
This is to upgrade my media center (By media center I mean a XP platform that I have hooked up to a 42" LCD DVI - HDMI 1920x1080P).
Im probly going to need to buy a new graphics card to be able to achieve that resolution (And I like to do a little light gaming on it).
My question is if im going to have power issues if I upgrade the graphics card (Im pretty sure it has a PCI-E slot open) because I was told that I might.
Keep in mind its a Small Form Factor and im upgrading the CPU to a dual core (Which I guess I dont have to, but for the price Im thinking why not)
Also any recommendations on the GFX card is welcome too.
