Specifications for an inverter include:

     Input voltage:         12 VDC
Output voltage:      120 or 220 VAC
     Output Power:        2200 Watts
Output Frequency:  50 or 60 Hz

Check the commercially available products before you try building one of your own.
Inverters can generate deadly voltages.

Xantrex has a very good line:

It's kind of difficult to answer this question, since the input current isn't specified, nor the output voltage - in general, you can't output more power than you put in.  If you really want to output 2200 watts @ 120v, that's a huge amount of power and should be done by a qualified electrician or you should use a commercial product, as that can easily cause a fire or kill someone if done improperly.

The input's ACCU NS100 -  DC 12v 100A for one or 2 pcs.
Seeked Output : AC 2200 W

any solutions ?

What does "ACCU NS100" mean?
Is this some sort of standard?

In the US, most equipment including PCs run on 120 VAC at 60 Hz.
You can certainly find commercial inverters at the 2 kW level.

Are you not in the US?

Are you determined to build a unit yourself?

by: sidhiPosted on 2009-09-16 at 15:03:59ID: 25350710

ACCU = Accumulator / Lead-Acid Battery (Rechargeable), which usually used for a car.

in my country, Indonesia, ACCU NS100 means an Accumulator with a DC 12V and 100A.

I'm looking for an electronic schema for Sinus Inverter with input DC 12Volt with 100 Ampere into output AC 220Volt with 10Ampere. It could be less either fot the capacity.  (not buy a product)

Thanks.

12v @ 100 amps = 1200 watts.  How were you expecting to produce 220v @ 10 amps = 2200 watts from that?

Do you mean a sine-wave inverter when you say sinus inverter?

by: sidhiPosted on 2009-09-18 at 16:19:47ID: 25370713

yes, that's Sine-Wave Inverter.

And also yes I would like to produce 2200va even only for about half an hour for 12Volt (100A).

Where can I have the schema  ?

Thanks :)

The laws of physics say you can't output more energy than you input.  Look at the numbers going in and going out - you're outputting twice as much energy as you are putting in.  If I could do that and scale it up, I'd be a billionaire.

by: sidhiPosted on 2009-09-19 at 10:00:09ID: 25373666

mhm.... how about with output as 1200W? do you have the sine-wave inverter schema ?

by: CallandorPosted on 2009-09-19 at 14:18:39ID: 25374697

by: sidhiPosted on 2009-09-19 at 14:29:09ID: 25374736

thanks for the link. But is it able to use for some device that use motor such as Blender or water pump ?
Beause I would like to use it for those appliances. That's why I need a Sine-Wave inverter with input 12v output 220v (my country use 220v)

by: sidhiPosted on 2009-09-19 at 14:44:02ID: 25374840

PS : looking for pure sinewave, not modified from square.

This one may be better for your 220v and home appliances: http://electroschematics.com/220/12v-dc-220v-ac-converter/
