PC turns off out of knowhere with no warning and nothing in event log

Tags: hardware issue, random power turning off

Basically my laptop, centrino 1.5 gig of ram and nvidia 6600 go video card, turns off completely, this happens all of the time but seems to be more when the load is high, but not always. tested the ram and checked for all virus and malwhere and what not, i was thinking this is maybe the power supply or something? no real idea how to find out whats wrong, theres nothing in the event viewer and it will turn right back on and then work for any random amount of time, sometimes 1 min after i turn on sometimes 2 days. doesnt seem to be overheating but it has no sensors other then my hand, and it has always ran hot. same thing plugged in or on battery. please help
