Abit BD7 mobo post code error A7? (doesn't exist in manual)

Today I started building my new system -- P4 1.9GHz, 512MB DDR2100, Abit BD-7 (non-RAID) motherboard.

Once I had the CPU, memory, vid card (GeForce 3 Ti200), and motherboard installed and in the case, I plugged in a monitor and keyboard just to see if I can get to the BIOS setup (to verify that things were ok).

Well, it wouldn't even generate a video signal!  The Post Code on the motherboard reads "A7", which isn't listed anywhere in the manual.  At first I thought maybe it was "7A", which was "Detect and install coprocessor", which seems rather nonsensical to me.  Furthermore, the 7A code occurs rather late in the POST, and I don't think I'm getting that far (other obvious things are occuring -- like getting messages on the monitor for entering setup, etc.).

It also emits a series of long beeps once the post code stops at A7, until I turned it off.

I've checked DejaNews and a couple (literally, only two results) of other people have gotten the same code and symptoms, but no replies as of yet.

Does anyone know what this "A7" code means?  I've reseated my CPU, and unplugged all the other wires from the motherboard, except power (so now I'm using the onboard reset and power buttons), but the same thing keeps happening.

Thanks for any help!

Sorry, minor clarification.  Where I said:

"Furthermore, the 7A code occurs rather late in
the POST, and I don't think I'm getting that far (other obvious things are occuring -- like getting
messages on the monitor for entering setup, etc.)."

I meant that "other obvious things should be occuring FIRST...[and are not occuring]".

Yep, I took the bare system apart and put it back together again, paying close attention to memory and vid card.  It was able to POST just fine when I tried it again.  Thanks!
Glad it worked for you. Thanks.
