Memory Problem-- any two sticks work but any four sticks create a blue screen

I just swapped out my Intel motherboard with an identical one. Prior to that I had four sticks of memory, each having two gigabytes. The memory speed was 1300 MHz. The memory worked just fine before the swap. After the swap I got a blue screen when the system was booting into Windows. As part of the diagnostic procedure I removed all memory sticks except one -- the one closest to the CPU. That booted into Windows just fine. I then added one other stick -- the one that matched and that went into the other blue slot. No problems there. When I added the other two sticks I got the blue screen again. I thought that I might have mixed up the matched pairs so I tried every other combination I could think of. Any combination of two worked. Any combination of four did not work. Any ideas?
