New Vista Pc Keeps Crashing

Hello

I have just build a new pc (i have build many pcs), and it keeps crashing and locking up, randomly dont sure why.

This is the compoents i have used.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66GHz Socket 775 1333FSB 4MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor
Gigabyte GA-EP43T-UD3L P43 Socket 775 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
Corsair 4gb (2x2gb) Ddr3 1333mhz Xms3 Memory Kit Cl9 (9-9-9-24)
Western Digital WD6401AALS 640GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache - OEM Caviar Black

I have installed all the latest drivers, checked the memory (no problems found), all service packs are installed. i have checked for viruses and none found

any thoughts to why?
