http://apps.ati.com/102lookup/ also does not work as the numbers listed above arent parts numbers and are longer than 10 digits
I think the only real solution here is to install it and run dxdiag instead I'm afraid

You can install the card without problems.
In case of non-compatibility with the motherboard, this issue of the BIP.
In case of non-compatibility (temporary) with the operating system, drivers will be installed interim, pending the right ones.
After you install it, if you see the question mark, go in the properties of the device, and watch the values of Device and Vendor and search on this site:
http://www.pcidatabase.com/index.php
Then from here you can understand the model and find the appropriate drivers.

This card is an ATI FireMV 2260.
I just had Dell ship me a box with two of these cards installed and had incorrectly labeled them as being a couple NVidia NVS 295. After a day of searching, I gave up and gave them a ring. They relied on a tool named 'TechPowerUp GPU-Z v0.4.2' found at http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ to determine the model.
But like the eariler posters mentioned, you'd have to install the card to get anywhere.
Hope this helps someone how finds this thread later.

As stated above, This card is an ATI FireMV 2260. It has the new Display port (dual) as the output. You will need a "dongle" in order to connect it to VGA or DVI monitor.
As a side note - I just pulled it out of a system and replaced it with another card. In the system I was using (Win xp 32 bit) it kept freezing up no matter what driver I found.
