Yes, I've looked on the Compaq/HP sites. I've also downloaded tons of drivers and tried to install them, but nothing has worked so far.

Are you going here???
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/
This is for the 64-bit processor. Did you install the Windows XP 64-bit???
we just need to figure out your motherboard chipset. do you have a utility that does that?
i usually use Sandra Lite (www.sisoftware.net)
http://www.benchmarkhq.ru/
LAN: you can try using the driver package for Vista, sp34275.exe, it doesn't specifically identify itself for Vista, so it might work
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softp
you can try running it, but i would unzip it into a folder, and point Windows to it from the device manager
Graphics - here's the nVidia GeForce 6 Series driver set

I've tried this already. I didn't have any luck with it.
We install 3-4 systems daily in our shop, and we couldn't live without
Driveragent.com
Logging on to this site provides a capability to scan your computer and see ALL of the drivers, as well as the ones that are not current.
It's a pay as you go site, but it's well worth the money. If it was $100 bucks a month it would still be a good deal for me. At the very least, you should be able to identify the specific drivers on your system which will make it easier to locate them through your favorite search engine. Good Luck.
1/ Have you checked http://h10025.www1.hp.com/
2/ Try the automatic driver detection http://welcome.hp.com/coun
3/ Next I would recommend to talk to a HP.com representative http://welcome.hp.com/coun
ok, there is nothing readily available on the internet for Quanta 30B7 motherboard
here's a link to Compaq Presario V6000 system drivers, which supposedly uses the same motherboard. the driver sets may overlap. these are for Windows XP
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/
again, Download only, extract each package into a folder, and point Device Manager to it, let it see if it finds something compatible. i'm pretty sure the nVidia graphics and audio will be there.
did you try the LAN Vista drivers?
can you take a look with Sandra > Motherboard to see if it can identify the NIC model
here's a driver scanner from driverguide.com

What I usually do in a situation like this is to google the laptop model name and SN.. whatever you need to and find the name of the motherboard manufacturer, such as ASUS, Gigabyte...etc..etc.. once you know the company name of the motherboard it's best to go to their site and find the drivers. Never hurts to try calling the laptop manufacturer to see if they can walk you through it or send you a disk. If you can't find the motherboard manufacturer or it's just a generic board from the laptop company itself then the best bet is to go to the laptop manufacturers website or techsupport to locate the necessary drivers and possible install help.
