Sound Card Shows Up In Device Manager But Is Not An Option For Playback

Asked by nybeechpilot in Computer Sound Cards, Windows XP Operating System

Hi,

I can see the soundcard in the device manager, it is enabled.  When I go to the sound properties area and try to select it as the playback device it is not there.  All that I can choose is Microsoft RDP Audio Driver.  I have installed the latest audio driver, chipset drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the sound card, and even updated the BIOS.  Any thoughts?Start Free Trial
