I am having trouble with my audio. I can play my dvd but no sound.
I tried installing the audio driver (1525 SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD ) from dell 1520 xp driver list and I got the following message:
ExitError:Error=THis system does not support the driver you are attempting to install.
Any suggestions or leads would be greatly appreciated.

I did download the drivers as mentioned on http://jigar-mehta.blogspo
Is there any sequence of steps that I need to do as I install the following 3 drivers:
Audio driver, HMDI driver and Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for HD Audio?
Thanks
I download all the drivers as posted in http://jigar-mehta.blogspo
What other solutions do I have.
I have the same problem:
- My Inspiron 1525 doesn't play any sound when viewing a dvd (but plays normally from mp3 and other sources, including music cd's)
- I've installed all the last drivers from dell support website, with no install error.
I've looked many webs for a solution, but still got this problem. Anyone could help?
Thanks,
