USB Sound Driver Install Fails - Failed to create service "usbaudio"

I am trying to install a usb audio card (GWC USB 5.1 Channel Audo Adapter AA1500 5.1 Channels USB Interface Sound Card) and keep having the same error except for the first time. The first time windows gives me the error "Access is Denied" when trying to do the automatic install of the driver. All of the subsequent times it says "An error occured during the installation of the device. The system cannot find the specified file. I have attached my setupapi.log file with the error inside. What file is it talking about and why doesn't it just work. This is supports to auto install without any extra drivers in XP.

I do not know what file. I enabled verbose logging in windows for the driver install. In the attached file If i follow it correctly. there is an error installing service USBAudio.NT.Services. That is from the INF it is reading and in that section it calls a method called usbaudio_Service_Inst and the only file there is usbaudio.sys and that file is in that location. I even copied a new version of that file into the directory, and still nothing.

PnP is enabled in the bios

I dont have another PC that it can be installed on. What do you mean mean by it can be bad? (the actual device), if so how would that affect windows ability to install the default Windows driver for USB Audio?
it must be able to run the file on the device, otherwise it can't install

I have actually solved the problem, it was mcAfee Anti-Virus that was blocking the install.

I suggest accepting your own solution as the solution. The instructions I gave wouldn't have fixed the problem in your case. Or split the points for everyone for making an effort.
