Question
Some sounds are clipped after changing sound output to Sound Blaster card
Hi Experts,
My motherboard audio died, so I installed a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI card (installed driver v1.04.0090).
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Since changing to the new sound card MP3 files etc. play OK.
But some of my sounds are clipped.
For example, the Eudora "new mail" sound.
Here is the sound file: http://www.freewebs.com/re
If I play that file after downloading it, it sounds fine.
But when Eudora outputs the sound it is clipped - listen to this recording (preceded by about 30 seconds of silence): https://www.yousendit.com/
