I was able to get around the firewall. If you have a differenet operating system, then just use the first link and select the operating system from there.

Thanks, got the driver but did not resolve my problem:
I have the notebook hooked to a vga monitor and the TV. I switch between the two external monitors. I had the inspire on the road and turned it on in the Seattle airport and got a blank screen. It now works with the primary screen as the vga monitor or if I boot in safe mode with the vga unattached it goes back to the panel monitor. I am not able to extend my desktop even with the new driver. ??
Try and go into the display properties by right clicking on the desktop, properties and selecting Settings at the far right of the top tabs. Select the secondary monitor and tick the extend my windows desktop.
Or try and go into the ATI utility, there should also be a way to set the extended monitor or to turn it on. I can't go into detail about the ATI area cause I don't have an ATI card, sorry but I can try my best though.
Found this from a previous question on your site:
"With an external monitor attached, looking at the Display>Properties settings tab shows two monitors listed as
1. (Multiple Monitors ) on ATI Mobility Radeon X300 (and)
2. (Multiple Monitors ) on ATI Mobility Radeon X300
1. is the external display, while 2. appears to be for the laptop panel and any changes made to the settings for this panel cannot be saved. Dragging the icon for monitor 2 gives the message "The monitor you have selected is currently disabled ...... Do you want to enable it?" Selecting Yes does not enable it.
Ctrl F8 (crt/lcd) does not toggle between the laptop and the external monitor.
Removing the ATI drivers restores the laptop display in both Safe and Normal mode.
Any suggestions as to how to get the laptop screen recognized with the ATI drivers?"
I have the exact same problem
Worked with PUNKY here on your site and this resolved the issues:
"Have you tried reset bios yet? If not, try this:
- F2 in startup to get in bios
- Turn on Cap Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock
- Type in sequence ALt+E, Alt+F, and ALt+B
This should reset bios. Then try to set video again.
If that is not helping, you might need to uncover the unit as link below:
http://support.dell.com/su
Try reseat the card and monitor the thermal cooling see if any loose or error.
Try that and post back. "
I took the laptop apart and reseated the video card and cleaned fans and it works great now..
Thanks for your time on this..

You can either try (sorry can't be more specific, my companies firewall is blocking me from going any further): /driver.ht ml
http://ati.amd.com/support
Or your computer's manufacturer site, if you provide the manufacturer and model I will provide a link for that too.
